Solutions

LightPartner delivers innovative, high-quality marine lighting solutions designed to meet diverse vessel requirements with reliable, efficient, and long-lasting luminaires.

Cruise Ships & Ferries

Lighting on cruise ships and ferries must balance technical functionality with passenger experience. LightPartner provides tailored lighting concepts that include decorative fixtures for lounges, restaurants, and cabins, as well as robust, low-maintenance luminaires for corridors, stairways, kitchens, and service areas. Human-centric lighting concepts enhance comfort and well-being, while advanced LED technology reduces energy consumption and maintenance demands. Their systems are engineered for seamless integration into new builds or retrofits, supporting both aesthetic appeal and long-term operational reliability.

Naval Vessels

Naval applications require lighting that meets stringent operational and military specifications. LightPartner supplies robust luminaires that are shock- and vibration-proof, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tested, and designed to operate seamlessly with modern naval systems. Options include dimmable and red-light solutions for night operations, long-life LEDs for reduced maintenance, and custom engineering for mission-specific requirements. From crew quarters to combat information centers, these systems combine safety, functionality, and stealth capability, ensuring reliable performance for naval fleets worldwide.

Offshore

Offshore facilities and support vessels face some of the harshest operational conditions, requiring lighting that can perform without compromise. LightPartner develops corrosion-resistant, vibration-proof luminaires with IP-rated housings designed to withstand exposure to saltwater, oil, and extreme weather. These systems are available with intelligent monitoring and control options, ensuring operators can manage lighting performance and energy usage even in remote environments. From helidecks and walkways to living quarters and technical control rooms, LightPartner’s solutions improve safety, extend service intervals, and deliver confidence in mission-critical offshore operations.

Commercial

Commercial vessels rely on lighting that is tough, efficient, and built to withstand daily demands. LightPartner delivers solutions designed for wheelhouses, engine rooms, workshops, cargo spaces, and accommodation areas—each built to IMO, SOLAS, and IEC standards. Their luminaires are optimized for high durability and minimal upkeep, ensuring safe working conditions and long service life. With modular options for new installations and refits alike, LightPartner helps operators reduce lifecycle costs and maintain reliability in some of the most demanding maritime environments.

Refit solutions

Efficient and environmentally friendly

LightPartner’s refit solutions provide an environmentally friendly way to modernise existing lighting systems without the need for complete replacement. Depending on the project, the upgrade may involve simply replacing the internal gear tray with a plug-and-play LED module, allowing existing housings and wiring to remain in place, or a straightforward lamp-for-lamp replacement with new LED luminaires designed to fit existing mounting points. Cullys’ technicians carry out these refits efficiently and with minimal disruption, helping operators reduce energy consumption, cut emissions, and extend the life of their lighting systems while ensuring compliance with international maritime standards.

Quality & Testing

We recommend LightPartner products with confidence, as their luminaires are subject to rigorous in-house testing for vibration, shock, climate, and temperature to ensure full compliance with international maritime standards. These intensive checks give operators the assurance that every fitting is reliable, durable, and able to perform consistently in the demanding conditions of the marine environment.

Lightpartners Testing Methods:

Vibration

LightPartner luminaires undergo controlled vibration simulations to confirm structural integrity and consistent performance under real-world conditions. These tests demonstrate compliance with durability standards for handling, installation, and ongoing operation.

Endurance Test

To prove long-term performance, luminaires undergo endurance trials simulating real-world use. They are tested in ambient temperatures of up to +45 °C and periodically inspected to monitor output and reliability over time.

Climate Test

To replicate harsh environmental conditions, the luminaires are placed in a climatic chamber and exposed to temperature extremes, rapid fluctuations, and changing humidity. These trials demonstrate how well the products maintain stability and moisture resistance in demanding climates.

IP Protection Classes

Ingress protection is confirmed through immersion testing. For an IPX7 rating, the luminaire must endure being submerged in one metre of freshwater for up to half an hour while continuing to function correctly.

Light Measurements

Each luminaire is analysed for its optical output, with assessments of brightness, colour rendering, beam spread, and efficiency. Measurements such as luminous flux, intensity, and colour temperature verify that the lighting delivers consistent and efficient performance.

Frequently Asked Questions?

Find quick answers to our most common questions about services, locations, and capabilities.

Victron firmware only needs updating when there’s a relevant reason; such as a mandatory version, a new feature you want, or a bug/security fix. If your system is working well, there’s no need to update just for the sake of updating. Updates are prompted in VictronConnect when required, and your existing settings are generally preserved during the process.

Yes. All Victron orders placed through Cullys are subject to a flat rate shipping charge, whether the order is small or large. This is because Cullys too are charged a flat rate.

Victron offers a 5-year Limited Warranty on its power product range (anything except batteries), valid from the date of purchase by the original end-user. For batteries, the warranty periods are 2 years for lead-acid and 3 years for lithium batteries.

To make a warranty claim, you’ll need your proof of purchase and the product’s serial number. As authorised distributors, Cullys can assist you with lodging the claim through Victron’s dealer / support channels. If needed, you may be asked to send details such as the part number, product description, photos of the defect, and information about how the product has been used.

Yes. Victron products are designed with flexibility in mind and can integrate with many other brands of batteries, inverters, solar panels, and monitoring systems. They support a wide range of industry-standard communication protocols such as VE.Direct, VE.Can, and Modbus, making it easier to connect with third-party equipment. For best results, we recommend contacting Cullys before purchase or installation so we can confirm compatibility with your specific system and ensure the components work seamlessly together.
